Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Accountant – Receivables to manage the company's accounts receivable function. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate invoicing, timely collections, customer account reconciliations, credit control, and maintaining healthy cash flow while supporting financial reporting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the Audit process including filing and posting of all credit invoices and vouchers into the CTS software.
• Manage the collection of the Company’s debt both current and legacy receivables.
• Register clients via the account opening and credit application form into the software.
• Generate and issue customer invoices accurately.
• Record all customer payments promptly.
• Monitor customer credit limits.
• Prepare month-end receivables reconciliation
• Following up on WHT credit note collection from customers.
• Managing and communicating with customers on their accounts.
• Monitoring and following up on due debt collection
• Posting clients’ receipts and payments into the Accounting software.
• Prepare and submit daily sales report.
• Ensure compliance with all internal controls.
• Maintain an accurate Fixed Asset Register.
• Record all newly acquired assets in the register.
• Conduct quarterly physical verification of company assets across all branches.
• Calculate and post monthly depreciation for all fixed assets.
• Monitor asset movement between branches and departments and ensure proper authorization.
• Monitor asset maintenance schedules and coordinate with relevant departments to maximize asset utilization.
Qualifications
• Bachelors in Finance, Accounting, Business related field
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or Financial Accounting.
• A professional qualification is compulsory e.g. ACA, ACCA.
• Good customer relationship
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/Accounting software.
• Experience in a retail, Manufacturing or multi-branch organization is preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Excellent reporting skill
