Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical Project Manager to lead pharmaceutical manufacturing projects from concept to commercialization.
• The successful candidate will oversee project execution, manufacturing strategy, regulatory compliance, GMP remediation, contract manufacturing, and commercialization while working with regulators, manufacturers, investors, and technical partners.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead pharmaceutical manufacturing projects from planning through commercialization.
• Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and execution strategies.
• Coordinate manufacturing scale-up and operational readiness.
• Identify and manage contract manufacturing opportunities.
• Lead GMP gap assessments and remediation programmes.
• Coordinate NAFDAC registration, regulatory approvals, and support WHO GMP/WHO Prequalification initiatives where applicable.
• Prepare feasibility studies, business cases, and investment support documentation.
• Manage relationships with regulators, manufacturers, consultants, suppliers, and investors.
• Monitor industry trends and identify new pharmaceutical manufacturing opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with GMP and applicable pharmaceutical regulations.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Successful delivery of pharmaceutical projects.
• Completion of GMP remediation programmes.
• Progress of NAFDAC registrations and regulatory approvals.
• Execution of contract manufacturing partnerships.
• Commercial readiness of manufacturing projects.
• Quality of feasibility studies and investment support.
• Stakeholder satisfaction and project delivery.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, operations, regulatory affairs, or pharmaceutical project management.
• Practical experience within a pharmaceutical manufacturing consulting company.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, NAFDAC regulatory processes, manufacturing operations, and commercialization.
• Experience with contract manufacturing, GMP remediation, and pharmaceutical product commercialization.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is an added advantage.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and project management skills.
