Job Summary • The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is responsible for leading the company’s marketing, branding, and business development strategies across petroleum products and allied services.
• This role is required to drive market penetration, customer acquisition, and sustainable growth while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop and execute marketing strategies for petroleum products, waste management, and environmental consultancy services.
• Brand Development: Position the company as a trusted leader in petroleum supply, pollution control, and marine services.
• Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities in industrial, medical, and domestic waste management sectors.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build strong partnerships with government agencies, corporate clients, and international stakeholders.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure marketing practices align with Nigerian oil & gas regulations and environmental standards.
• Revenue Growth: Drive profitability through innovative marketing campaigns, pricing strategies, and distribution channels.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and manage the marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Key Requirements
• Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; (MBA preferred)
• Minimum of 15 years experience in Marketing / Revenue leadership, with at least 5 years at executive level.
• Strong understanding of Nigerian Oil & Gas downstream sector and environmental services
• Leadership, negotiation, stakeholder management, and proven track record in revenue growth.
