Job Summary
• This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive productivity, solve technical challenges, and maintain strict compliance with quality, safety, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate the execution of construction projects by contractors and site teams.
• Monitor daily construction activities to ensure timely project delivery and proper documentation.
• Identify, manage, and resolve technical issues and construction snags within approved timelines.
• Monitor material issuance and minimize material wastage.
• Review contractors' work progress and provide regular updates and recommendations to the Construction Project Manager.
• Plan and coordinate workforce scheduling, deployment, and productivity.
• Ensure timely availability of construction materials to prevent project delays.
• Monitor compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Conduct daily site inspections to ensure quality workmanship, housekeeping, and site organization.
• Prepare and submit accurate daily and weekly project progress reports.
• Coordinate contractors, artisans, suppliers, and vendors to achieve project milestones.
• Support the Construction Project Manager in project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
• Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety & Environment HSE policies across all project sites.

Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience in construction project execution.
• Registration with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria COREN is required.
• Membership of the Nigerian Society of Engineers NSE is required.
• Proven experience managing contractors, site operations, and construction teams.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, project scheduling, quality control, and HSE requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities across project sites.
