Job Title: Junior Accountant
Location: Frajend Group Warehouse, Shapati, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos

About Us: Amusa Screeding Industries Ltd is a leading provider of screeding materials, dedicated to delivering top-quality services to our clients. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. This role involves managing the accounting for all incoming and outgoing items, as well as handling raw materials. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with some accounting experience looking to advance their careers in the storage industry.
Job Responsibilities
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Process accounts payable and receivable by reviewing invoices, processing payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
• Support payroll processing and ensure accurate reporting of employee hours and deductions.
• Assist in coordinating and preparing for audits.
• Help with budgeting and financial planning activities.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records for easy retrieval of documentation.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial matters.
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial analysis and decision-making.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Previous experience in accounting or finance is preferred but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and familiar with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, SAGE, Odoo).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits: ₦200,000 plus Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) and additional benefits.
