Job Description
Century Medicaid Services Limited, a leading Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), is seeking an experienced and strategic Head, Human Resources & Administration to lead the Company's human resources and administrative functions from its Head Office in Port Harcourt.

The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership in talent management, employee engagement, organizational development, and administrative operations while ensuring compliance with Nigerian labour laws, NHIA requirements, and internal corporate policies. The role is critical to building a high-performing workforce that supports the delivery of quality healthcare services to our clients and enrollees.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR and administrative strategies aligned with the Company's business objectives.

• Lead workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, and employee retention initiatives.

• Oversee performance management, learning and development, and employee engagement programmes.

• Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws, NHIA regulations, and the Company's policies and governance standards.

• Provide strategic HR advisory support to Management on organizational structure, workforce planning, disciplinary matters, and employee relations.

• Develop and review HR policies, standard operating procedures, and administrative guidelines to support operational excellence.

• Oversee payroll administration, compensation and benefits, leave management, and employee records while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.

• Manage office administration, facilities, procurement support, fleet and asset administration, and other corporate support services.

• Drive a performance-oriented culture that promotes accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

• Prepare HR and administrative reports, budgets, workforce analytics, and management dashboards.

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Human Resources and Administration team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 5 years' progressive Human Resources and Administration experience, with at least 2 years in a senior management role.

• Professional certification such as CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or an equivalent qualification is required.

• Sound knowledge of Nigerian labour laws, HR best practices, and corporate governance principles.

• Experience within the healthcare, HMO, insurance, or other highly regulated industry is an added advantage.

• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR Information Systems (HRIS).
