We are currently seeking an experienced DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing technology outsourcing team. The successful candidate will be deployed to support modern cloud-based applications and infrastructure for one of our technology clients.
Job Summary The DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, securing, automating, monitoring, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines for modern web applications built on microservices architecture.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with software engineers, product teams, and technical stakeholders to ensure high availability, security, and scalability of production environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Deploy and maintain containerized applications.
• Administer Linux servers and cloud infrastructure.
• Configure and maintain Nginx and reverse proxies.
• Monitor application health, logs, and infrastructure performance.
• Implement infrastructure automation and configuration management.
• Manage backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
• Configure SSL certificates, DNS, and networking components.
• Implement cloud security best practices.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization and operational costs.
• Troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure-related issues.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
• Work closely with software engineers to improve deployment workflows.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure experience.
• Strong knowledge of Linux system administration.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Git and GitHub workflows.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure, DevOps.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, DO or Google Cloud Platform.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₦130,000.00 - ₦150,000.00 per month
