ABOUT INCEPIFYAI
IncepifyAI deploys AI systems into the most security-sensitive environments in the Nigerian financial sector. Every deployment involves customer financial data, director PII, and sensitive credit files. Our clients' security teams are rigorous, their regulators are strict, and our infrastructure must meet every standard they throw at it — including CBN IT risk guidelines and international data isolation frameworks.
You are the engineer who makes sure it does.
THE ROLE
You will be responsible for taking our AI suite from its current Streamlit Community Cloud prototype into bank-approved, enterprise-grade production infrastructure for every client we serve. You will design the hosting architecture, manage secrets, configure VPC environments, establish SSO integration with the bank's Active Directory, and own the 4-hour remediation SLA that we commit to every client in our service agreement.
You are also the designated Tier-2 technical escalation owner for all live deployments. When a Regional Delivery Coordinator escalates a production issue, you are the person they escalate to.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
▸ Architect and deploy production hosting environments on AWS GovCloud or equivalent bank-approved cloud infrastructure for each client deployment
▸ Implement proper secrets management (Vault or equivalent), replacing all development-environment shortcuts before any live client data touches the system
▸ Configure SSO integration with each bank client's Active Directory or existing identity provider
▸ Design and maintain the Supabase audit logging infrastructure underpinning our CBN compliance commitments
▸ Conduct or coordinate penetration testing before each go-live, and respond to findings with documented remediation
▸ Own the 4-hour remediation SLA for all infrastructure-level production incidents, available across West African business hours
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
▸ 6+ years in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or platform engineering with a specific focus on security
▸ AWS GovCloud experience or equivalent regulated cloud environment (Azure Government, Google Cloud for regulated industries)
▸ Deep familiarity with secrets management (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager), VPC configuration, and zero-trust network architecture
▸ Experience integrating applications with enterprise SSO providers (Active Directory, Okta, or equivalent)
▸ SOC 2 compliance experience — ideally as an implementing engineer, not just a checklist auditor
▸ Experience working with banks or other highly regulated enterprises through their vendor security assessment processes
WHAT WE OFFER
▸ Compensation is performance-based revenue sharing. exact sharing formula would be negotiated on a deal-by-deal basis
▸ $per annum depending on depth of regulated-environment experience
▸ Fully remote (US-based strongly preferred for SLA coverage reasons)
▸ Equity participation as a founding technical team member
▸ The authority to define and build the security architecture from scratch — this is a greenfield infrastructure role, not a maintenance position
