Job descriptions & requirements
Company Description ScaleWox is a growth infrastructure marketplace that focuses on creating new, measurable revenue channels for businesses, creators, and product owners. Instead of selling education or consulting, ScaleWox structures engagements around revenue outcomes, often through performance-based models such as revenue share per lead, customer, or deal. The organization helps clients expand their income beyond a single channel with offerings like Expand Without Inventory™, Content to Revenue™, Make Money with Apps™, and Growth Partner™. Its broader ecosystem includes ScaleWox Academy for hands-on professional training, ScaleWox Works for matching certified contractors to client projects, and Japa With a Job™ to support relocating professionals with income opportunities. ScaleWox is a project of BWBMart and operates with a “Revenue First” philosophy, taking on only projects with a clear path to measurable results.
Role Description The Graduate Accountant role at Scalewox is a full-time, hybrid position based in Lekki, with flexibility for some work from home. In this role, the Graduate Accountant supports day-to-day financial operations, including maintaining accurate accounting records, processing invoices, tracking expenses, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities. The person in this position helps prepare financial reports, reconciles accounts, and ensures compliance with internal controls and relevant accounting standards. The role also involves assisting with budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis to support data-driven decision-making. The Graduate Accountant collaborates with cross-functional teams, responds to finance-related queries, and contributes to process improvements within the finance function.
Qualifications
• Foundational accounting and finance skills, including knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping, financial statements, and basic tax concepts.
• Proficiency with accounting software and productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation applications).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in numerical work.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to collaborate within a team, work independently when needed, and adapt to a hybrid work setup in Lekki.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; ongoing or planned professional certifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA) are an advantage.
• Familiarity with technology-driven businesses or revenue-focused environments is beneficial, along with a strong interest in learning and growth.
