Job Description
We are looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to refine and improve an existing beauty technology platform.
The web App is already live, but it needs a stronger visual finish, better layout consistency, cleaner spacing, improved mobile design, and a more polished overall user experience.
This role is ideal for someone who is excellent in Figma, has strong UX/UI experience, and also has a good eye for graphic design, branding, typography, layout, and visual presentation.
This is an agile beauty tech environment, which means we test, review, change, and improve quickly. Candidates must be comfortable with feedback, revisions, shifting priorities, and product changes as the platform develops.
Responsibilities
• Review the existing website and identify areas for UX/UI and visual improvement.
• Refine page layouts, spacing, typography, buttons, cards, forms, navigation, and mobile responsiveness.
• Improve key pages including the homepage, category pages, condition pages, product sections, review sections, sign-up flows, and business-facing pages.
• Create clean, developer-ready designs in Figma.
• Design supporting graphics, icons, banners, cards, and visual sections where needed.
• Build or improve reusable Figma components and help create a consistent design system.
• Work closely with the founder and developers to turn feedback into practical design improvements.
• Review implemented pages and provide clear design feedback before final approval.
Requirements
• Comfortable working in an agile environment where feedback, changes, revisions, and shifting priorities are part of the process.
• Strong UX/UI design experience.
• Excellent Figma skills.
• Strong visual and graphic design ability.
• Good understanding of responsive web design.
• Strong eye for layout, spacing, typography, colour balance, and visual hierarchy.
• Ability to improve an existing website
• Ability to create polished designs that developers can easily build from.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience with beauty, skincare, haircare, wellness, e-commerce, review platforms, marketplaces, or product discovery platforms is an advantage.
