Job Description

We’re looking for a creative, curious, and fast-learning Junior Graphic Designer to join our growing creative team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to sharpen their design skills, work on real brand projects, and grow within a supportive, collaborative environment.

At Africa Digital, we work with brands across digital, print, branding, advertising, and content creation. From campaign visuals to social media posts, from brochures to billboard concepts — you’ll be involved in everything visual.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality designs for digital and print media (social media, flyers, banners, brochures, ads, etc.)

• Work closely with the content, social media, and web teams to execute campaigns

• Interpret creative briefs and develop design concepts that meet business objectives

• Ensure all designs are aligned with brand guidelines and communicate the desired message effectively

• Revise and iterate on feedback from team members and clients

• Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)

• Strong understanding of design principles: typography, color theory, layout

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• Basic motion graphics/video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects)

• UI/UX design fundamentals

• Experience with Figma

• Familiarity with print production processes

Minimum Requirements

• Must own a personal laptop suitable for design work

• Must have design tools/software already installed and operational

• A strong portfolio showcasing your creative work (attach or include link in application)

• Minimum of 6 months of design experience (freelance, internship, personal projects or previous roles)
