Relationship/Loan Officer

As part of our expansion drive, we are seeking qualified, passionate, and result-oriented professionals to fill the position of Relationship/Loan Officer.

Job Summary The Relationship/Loan Officer will be responsible for sourcing new customers, marketing the Bank's loan products, conducting credit assessments, monitoring loan portfolios, and ensuring timely loan repayments. The ideal candidate must possess strong marketing skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a passion for business development.

Key Responsibilities

Market and promote the Bank's loan products and services.

Source and onboard new loan customers.

Conduct customer visits, business appraisals, and credit investigations.

Analyze customers' repayment capacity and recommend suitable loan facilities.

Prepare and process loan applications in line with the Bank's policies.

Monitor disbursed loans and ensure prompt repayment.

Maintain quality loan portfolios and minimize delinquency rates.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.

Achieve assigned business development and portfolio growth targets.

Prepare periodic reports on marketing and loan activities.

Requirements

Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Banking & Finance, Economics, or related disciplines.

Previous experience in loan marketing, sales, microfinance banking, or related financial services will be an added advantage.

Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

Ability to work independently and meet targets.

Good analytical and credit assessment skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
