Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and highly experienced At-Home Nurse to join our team in Ibadan, Nigeria. The ideal candidate will provide professional, personalized nursing care to elderly clients, ensuring their well-being and comfort. This role is critical in delivering the high standards of care the company is known for.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide personalized at-home nursing care to elderly clients, including assistance with daily living activities, medication administration, and monitoring of health conditions.
• Conduct routine health assessments, including blood pressure checks, blood sugar monitoring, and other necessary health evaluations.
• Develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to the specific needs of each client.
• Communicate effectively with family members (including those abroad) about the client’s health status, progress, and any concerns.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide appropriate care or referrals as needed.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and care reports.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare and safety protocols, maintaining the highest standards of care and professionalism.
Qualifications
Licensures: Must be licensed by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria with a current and valid license.
Experience: Proven experience in providing at-home nursing care, particularly for elderly clients, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
Skills:
• Strong ability to assess and address the needs of elderly patients.
• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English (knowledge of local languages is a plus).
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
• Proficiency in basic medical procedures, including administering injections, wound care, and managing medical equipment.
