The Role

We are seeking experienced critical care nurses to help clients restore their health and wellbeing in our Intensive Care and High Dependency Units, providing close monitoring and advanced nursing care to critically ill patients.

Key Responsibilities
• Implement nursing care plans for patients in the ICU/HDU
• Closely observe and monitor patients' vital signs and general wellbeing, with necessary follow-up
• Manage and ensure life support equipment (ventilators, syringe pumps, feeding tubes) functions properly
• Perform tasks such as medication administration and catheter insertion
• Maintain concise, complete records and reports; uphold patient confidentiality
• Provide health education and support to patients and their relatives
• Maintain a clean and safe environment at all times
• Comply with Standard Operating Procedures and quality standards
• Participate in departmental quality improvement projects

Requirements
• Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Midwife (RM); ICU Nursing Diploma and ICU experience an added advantage
• Valid practicing licence from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN)
• 0–5 years post-qualification experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) skills
• Knowledge of and ability to use life support equipment
• Attention to detail and empathy; good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to handle stress and crisis situations

Work Schedule

Shift-based, including weekends: Day shift (8:00am–6:00pm) and Night shift (6:00pm–8:00am).

Pay: ₦4,402,599.48 per year

Experience:
• post qualification : 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
• Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria certification (Required)
• Intensive Care (ICU) certification (Required)
