Job Description
Job Summary Purpose of the Role



• Manages the people and physical resources of the bank — recruitment, staff records, welfare, discipline, and the day-to-day administration of the premises, supplies and service vendors.



Job Responsibilities



• Open the admin day by confirming the branch is ready: power, generator/diesel, cleaning done, security posted.

• Manage recruitment: advertise roles, screen CVs, schedule interviews and complete onboarding/documentation of new hires guarantors, references, BVN, credentials.

• Maintain accurate personnel files, contracts, confirmation and leave records.

• Prepare monthly payroll input attendance, deductions, new hires/exits for Finance.

• Coordinate staff training plans, including mandatory AML/CFT and CBN-required trainings.

• Administer office supplies, stationery and procurement within budget; manage vendors diesel, internet, maintenance.

• Track attendance/punctuality and escalate disciplinary issues per the staff handbook.

• Organise staff meetings, welfare programmes and performance appraisal cycles.

• Maintain insurance, licences and utility payments for the premises.



Educational Qualification



• B.Sc. / HND qualification in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Public Administration or related field.



Professional Certification:



• CIPM Chartered Institute of Personnel Management student or associate membership an advantage.



Experience Required:



• Minimum of 3-5 years in HR and/or office administration, Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices, Experience in microfinance or retail banking environment or structured SME.
