Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the corporate accounting team, providing guidance and oversight. Oversee the preparation and delivery of consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS. Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data integrity. Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently and accurately. Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes. Ensure accurate and timely filing of all statutory returns, including tax and regulatory submissions in **Abuja**. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting function, leveraging technology and best practices. Provide financial insights and support to senior management for strategic decision-making. Manage cash flow reporting and forecasting. Requirements Master's degree in Accounting or Finance. ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent professional qualification is mandatory. A minimum of 8-10 years of extensive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role within a corporate environment. Proven experience in financial consolidation and international reporting standards (IFRS). Expertise in Nigerian corporate tax law and other relevant regulations. Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and advanced Excel skills. Exceptional leadership, team management, and communication skills. Strategic thinking and strong analytical problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
