Job Title: Finance and Accounting Manager

Location: Lagos

Salary: N500,000 net

Our client, a technology solutions company is seeking a Financial Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, statutory compliance, budgeting, investment monitoring, internal controls, and financial operations while providing valuable insights to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards.

· Manage the company's accounting records, general ledger, accounts payable and

· receivable, and bank reconciliations.

· Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, including PAYE, VAT, Withholding Tax,

· Pension, and other regulatory requirements.

· Prepare and submit statutory returns and coordinate external audit activities.

· Develop budgets, forecasts, financial models, and management reports to support

· strategic planning.

· Monitor cash flow, analyse financial performance, and recommend improvements.

· Support investment management by evaluating opportunities, monitoring

· performance, and providing financial insights.

· Oversee loan portfolio accounting, credit risk monitoring, regulatory reporting, and

· compliance with applicable financial regulations.

· Manage client and vendor financial relationships, ensuring timely collections, payments,

· reconciliations, and resolution of financial issues.

Requirements

· Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

· ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification is required.

· Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in financial accounting, reporting, and

· compliance.

· Sound knowledge of IFRS, taxation, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

· High level of integrity, attention to detail, and confidentiality.

· Preferably female for gender balance
