Odixcity Consulting is looking for a talented Backend Engineer Annotator to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. This full-time role offers the opportunity to develop and maintain backend systems that enhance our operational efficiency and client service delivery. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend components and APIs for diverse applications. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity through efficient database design. Implement containerization using Docker to streamline deployment processes. Conduct code reviews and participate in team discussions to uphold best coding practices. Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities in backend systems. Document engineering processes and share knowledge to foster a collaborative learning environment. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field. Proficient in backend development with strong skills in APIs and Docker. Experience with relational and non-relational databases. Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git. Minimum of 3 years of backend development experience. Understanding of RESTful services and microservices architecture is a plus.
