Full-Stack Software Developer (Virtual Tutor) – 6-Month Engagement
We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Software Developer to serve as a Virtual Tutor for a 6-month training program. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with excellent teaching and communication abilities.
Key Requirements
• Proven hands-on experience as a Full-Stack Software Developer.
• Demonstrable portfolio of completed projects, applications, or professional work that showcases real-world development experience.
• Strong proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies (such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, Vue.js, Node.js, Python, Java, PHP, .NET, or similar technologies).
• Experience working with databases, APIs, cloud platforms, version control systems, and modern software development practices.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to learners with varying levels of experience.
• Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, coaching, or technical training is highly desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation and virtual classroom facilitation skills.
• Ability to develop lesson plans, practical exercises, coding projects, and assessments.
• Commitment to supporting learners throughout the 6-month program.
Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging virtual training sessions on full-stack software development.
• Provide hands-on instruction covering both front-end and back-end development.
• Guide learners through practical projects and real-world development scenarios.
• Review assignments, provide constructive feedback, and monitor learner progress.
• Offer mentorship and career guidance where appropriate.
• Maintain a professional, interactive, and supportive online learning environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
• Relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
• Experience using virtual learning platforms and collaboration tools.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of professional full-stack development experience.
Essential Competency
Exceptional communication skills are critical. The successful candidate must be able to communicate complex technical concepts in a simple, clear, and engaging manner while maintaining high learner engagement throughout the program.
This role is ideal for a seasoned full-stack developer who is passionate about teaching and helping others build practical software development skills
Pay: ₦7,000.00 - ₦10,000.00 per hour
