Job Description
JOB SUMMARY



• The Coverage Associate is responsible for supporting the institutional sales function by managing client/investor relationships and manage the distribution of capital market instruments and transaction offerings to institutional clients, including pension funds, asset managers, insurance companies, trustees, and corporates.



Responsibilities



• Build and manage relationships with key decision makers across the various investor groups such as Fund Managers, Trustees, Insurers, Corporates, etc.

• Develop relationships with local and international investors private capital investors, venture capital funds, development finance institutions, pension funds, asset managers, strategic investors etc. to ensure success of various transaction types.

• Manage strong pipeline of institutional investors and HNIs.

• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and transaction information to clients.

• Coordinate client meetings, roadshows, and follow-ups to ensure effective engagement.

• Provide market intelligence and client feedback to execution teams.

• Support the Managing Director to monitor project activities and transaction execution on a day-to-day basis.

• Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical sales practices.



Requirements



• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.

• Minimum 5 years’ professional experience; experience in institutional sales, relationship management or business development in financial services is preferred within asset management, investment banking, or capital markets is highly preferred.

• Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, ACS, CFA, CAIA would also be beneficial.

• Must be a SEC Sponsored Individual.

• Must have demonstrated ability to create sales/relationship opportunities with clients and prospects.

• Excellent relationship management and business development skills.

• Knowledgeable about Capital Markets, the Economy and general financial markets as well as investment products such as Bonds, Commercial paper, Private notes and Equities.

• Strong presentation, negotiation, and excellent communication abilities.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial and market data.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tool.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team.

• Adaptable and able to perform in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
