Role Description The Head, Wealth Management (Sales) is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Lagos. This position leads the wealth management sales function, setting sales targets, developing strategies, and driving growth in investments and asset management products.
Daily responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with high‑net‑worth and institutional clients, identifying client needs, and recommending suitable investment and wealth solutions. The role oversees the sales team, provides coaching and performance management, and collaborates with product and investment teams to refine offerings and ensure regulatory compliance. The Head, Wealth Management (Sales) also monitors market trends, prepares sales and performance reports, and represents the organization at client meetings, presentations, and industry events.
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Business Relationship Management skills, with a proven ability to acquire, grow, and retain client relationships.
• Candidates should possess solid Finance knowledge, including understanding of financial products, risk, and portfolio performance.
• Candidates should possess Investment Management and Investments skills, with experience structuring and advising on diversified portfolios.
• Candidates should possess deep experience in Financial Services, ideally within wealth management, asset management, or private banking.
• Demonstrated track record in sales leadership, target setting, and achieving revenue and AUM growth.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills, with high professional integrity and client‑centric orientation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; a relevant postgraduate degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CIS, CFP) is an advantage.
• Experience managing teams, working with regulatory requirements, and operating within the Nigerian financial market is highly beneficial.
