Job Title: HR and Operations Supervisor
Location: Ajah, Lagos ( Abijo-Cassia)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 6 PM, and Alternate Saturdays, 10 AM - 2 PM.
Salary: ₦180,000 Monthly
Job Summary:
The HR & Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing human resources functions and ensuring smooth day-to-day factory operations. The ideal candidate will drive workforce efficiency, operational excellence, compliance, and productivity within the production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Functions
• Manage the full recruitment and onboarding process for factory and administrative staff
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook
• Oversee employee relations, payroll, welfare, discipline, and grievance management
• Coordinate performance appraisal systems and staff development programs
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
Operations Management
• Supervise daily factory operations to ensure smooth production flow
• Coordinate production schedules in collaboration with the production team
• Monitor inventory, raw materials, and supply chain activities
• Ensure adherence to quality control standards and safety procedures
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency
• Liaise with logistics and procurement teams for timely delivery and dispatch
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field
• Minimum of 3–5 years relevant experience in HR and/or operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of labour laws and occupational health & safety standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR management systems is an advantage
