About the Role Our client, a dynamic and expanding organization, is seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Human Resources to lead all HR functions from their office in **Lokoja, Kogi, NG**. This senior leadership role is critical for developing and implementing HR strategies that support the company's growth, attract and retain top talent, and foster a positive and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and organizational development. You will be responsible for managing recruitment, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance. This is a key position that requires strategic thinking, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to building a high-performing workforce. We are looking for a dedicated HR professional to shape our client's human capital strategy.

Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive HR strategies and policies aligned with the company's overall business objectives. Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, development, performance management, and offboarding. Oversee the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs. Ensure compliance with all local labor laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation. Develop and implement employee relations programs to foster a positive and engaging work culture. Lead and mentor the HR team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective HR service delivery. Develop and manage the HR budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation. Partner with senior leadership to address organizational development needs and workforce planning. Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the organization. Manage HR data and analytics to inform strategic decision-making and report on key HR metrics. Requirements Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies in a growing organization. In-depth knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience in talent management, compensation and benefits, and employee relations. Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR technology tools. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with integrity. Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to HR management.
