Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our Technology team.
The successful candidate will play a dual role in maintaining and enhancing our existing production platform while contributing to the design and development of a modern next-generation platform. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, building scalable software solutions, and working across both legacy and modern technology stacks.

Role Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
Existing Platform Maintenance
• Maintain, monitor and enhance the existing production application.
• Troubleshoot software defects, performance issues and operational incidents.
• Implement approved enhancements and system improvements.
• Manage and optimise MySQL databases.
• Support Linux server administration, deployments and environment configuration.
Platform Development
• Design, develop and maintain scalable full-stack applications using React and Laravel.
• Develop responsive user interfaces and RESTful APIs.
• Design and optimise database schemas and application performance.
• Translate business and operational requirements into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and development partners throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Support integrations with third-party platforms and services.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years' professional experience in Full-Stack Software Development.
• Demonstrated experience maintaining production applications while contributing to new software development.
• Experience working on enterprise or multi-module applications will be an advantage.
Technical Requirements
Applicants should possess strong working knowledge of:
• React

• JavaScript (ES6+)

• RESTful API Development
• Linux Server Administration
• Git & Version Control
• Authentication and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) concepts
Preferred Experience
The following will be an added advantage:
• Experience with enterprise applications or workflow management systems.
• Experience supporting legacy systems while contributing to modern platform development.
• Experience with database migration projects.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and external services.
• Exposure to logistics, ERP or process-driven operational systems.
