Ethica Resolve CC is recruiting Balance Verification Agents to support a UK-based financial services client.

About the Role
As a Balance Verification Agent, you will be responsible for contacting UK creditors (banks, lenders, and finance companies) to obtain and verify account balance information on behalf of our client.
This is not a sales role and does not involve debt collection. The role focuses on professional telephone communication, information gathering, accurate record keeping, and spreadsheet updates.
Key Responsibilities
• Contact UK creditors via telephone to verify account balances and related information.
• Complete security verification procedures using information provided.
• Accurately update account records on shared spreadsheets.
• Clearly document cases where additional information is required.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and data security standards.
• Meet productivity and quality expectations.
• Escalate issues appropriately to Team Leads and Quality Assurance personnel.
Requirements
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.
• Professional telephone manner.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills and confidence using spreadsheets.
• Ability to follow processes and instructions.
• Ability to work in a structured, target-driven environment.
Preferred but Not Essential
• Contact centre experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Collections experience.
• Administrative or data-entry experience.
• Experience working with UK, US, or international customers.
