• The program is designed to develop future leaders in consumer finance by providing structured training, mentorship, and hands-on experience in loan origination, credit assessment, customer acquisition, portfolio management, and risk control.
• Successful candidates will gain practical exposure to lending operations and customer relationship management while supporting the growth of the consumer lending business.
Key Responsibilities
Consumer Lending Operations
• Support the sourcing and acquisition of qualified loan customers.
• Assist customers with loan application processes and documentation requirements.
• Conduct preliminary customer profiling and financial assessments.
• Verify customer information and ensure compliance with lending policies.
• Monitor loan applications through approval and disbursement stages.
• Maintain accurate customer and loan records.
Credit Assessment & Risk Management:
• Assist in evaluating customer creditworthiness and repayment capacity.
• Support credit checks and verification activities.
• Monitor loan portfolio performance and identify delinquent accounts.
• Participate in collections and recovery efforts when necessary.
• Ensure adherence to risk management and regulatory guidelines.
Customer Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Provide information on lending products, features, and benefits.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
• Conduct follow-up activities to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
Business Development:
• Support marketing and sales initiatives for consumer lending products.
• Identify new business opportunities and customer segments.
• Participate in field sales activities and promotional campaigns.
• Contribute to achieving loan disbursement and portfolio growth targets.
Reporting & Administration:
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
• Support process improvement initiatives within the lending unit.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or HND in any field
• NYSC completion certificate or exemption letter.
• 0–2 years of work experience.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
