Head of Sales & Marketing
Job Summary
The Head of Sales and Marketing is responsible for the strategic leadership of the group’s revenue-generating activities. This role involves designing and executing aggressive sales and marketing roadmaps for the car hire, security, and hospitality subsidiaries. The objective is to maximize the group’s market share in Lagos and beyond, ensuring each business unit operates as a leader in its respective field while leveraging group-wide synergies.
Key Responsibilities
• Division-Specific Growth Strategies: Secure corporate contracts for Car Hire, lead high-value tenders for Security Services, and drive occupancy and banquet revenue for Hospitality.
• Strategic Brand & Digital Management: Maintain a premium brand image and direct digital marketing campaigns across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
• Relationship Management: Maintain a robust network within the Lagos corporate ecosystem and manage "Key Accounts" personally.
• Operational Leadership: Set and monitor sales targets, implement a group-wide CRM, and work with Finance on competitive pricing models.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Social Sciences; MBA is a significant advantage.
Professional Membership
Membership in the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) or similar.
Experience
12+ years in sales and marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior management role within a multi-sector Nigerian group.
Expansion Expertise
Strong experience in market entry strategy and execution across African markets.
Industry Knowledge
Specific experience in service-based marketing (Logistics or Hospitality) preferred.
Regional Knowledge
Deep understanding of the Lagos market and cross-border business operations, including legal, cultural, and economic dynamics.
Market Validation
Ability to identify and validate new market opportunities, including regulatory, commercial, and operational considerations.
Partnership Building
Experience in building partnerships, distribution channels, and local networks.
Language Skills
French language skills are an added advantage, but not a requirement.
