About the Role
We’re seeking a results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead complex, high-value projects from initiation to close-out. You’ll own delivery, risk, budget, and stakeholder alignment across multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring projects land on time, within scope, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Delivery: Plan, execute, monitor, and close large-scale projects with budgets in the billions of naira (₦)
- Strategic Leadership: Define project roadmaps, KPIs, and governance frameworks aligned with business objectives
- Budget & Commercial Control: Manage ₦1B+ project budgets, cost forecasting, cash flow, and value engineering
- Stakeholder Management: Engage C-suite, clients, contractors, regulators, and community stakeholders with clear reporting and escalation paths
- Risk & Compliance: Proactively identify risks, implement mitigation, and ensure HSE, regulatory, and contractual compliance
- Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams of 15+ including PMs, engineers, QS, procurement, and external vendors
- Performance Reporting: Deliver executive dashboards, board-level updates, and post-project reviews with lessons learned - Vendor &
Contract Management: Lead RFPs, negotiations, and performance management for major EPC/turnkey contracts
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field. Master’s/MBA is a plus
- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent required
- Experience: 10+ years progressive project management experience, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles
- Portfolio Scale: Must have successfully managed and delivered at least one project valued at ₦2 billion or above
- Industry Background: Experience in infrastructure, oil & gas, real estate development, telecoms, or energy sectors preferred
- Technical Skills: Expert in MS Project/Primavera P6, ERP systems, cost control tools, and Power BI/Tableau for reporting
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong grasp of Nigerian contracting standards, FIDIC, public procurement act, and local permitting
Core Competencies
- Leadership: Ability to influence without authority and drive accountability in matrix environments
- Financial Acumen: Proven track record managing multi-billion naira budgets, P&L, and earned value management
- Communication: Executive-level presentation and negotiation skills in English
- Problem Solving: Calm under pressure with a data-driven approach to resolving critical path issues
- Adaptability: Experience managing projects across Lagos and other Nigerian states, including remote/rural sites

Pay: ₦800,000.00 - ₦1,200,000.00 per month
