About the Role

A fast-growing, sector-agnostic data infrastructure company is looking for an operational leader to unlock the potential of large-scale field data collection across Africa.

This role sits at the heart of the delivery model, overseeing a field workforce of 10,000 agents deployed across censuses, national mapping, and NGO impact measurement. You will be the operational backbone connecting project teams to the field, ensuring the right agents are in the right places at the right times, equipped, motivated, and accountable.

Key Responsibilities
• Become an expert in the field agent life cycle, owning everything from recruitment and onboarding through to deployment and engagement.
• Lead teams on workforce demand forecasting by working closely with project managers to ensure agents are mobilized without delay.
• Develop and execute a sharp deployment strategy that optimizes coverage and aligns agent skills to specific project requirements.
• Drive operational transparency by enforcing standardized documentation protocols across all projects and geographies to ensure audit readiness.
• Build and manage a healthy agent pipeline, designing engagement programs and incentive schemes to drive loyalty and reduce attrition.
• Cultivate and own executive-level reporting, producing regular workforce reports for the COO covering utilization, productivity, and trend analysis.
• Oversee the integration of workforce management tools, maintaining dashboards that provide real-time visibility into field operations.
• Support operational quality and training, identifying skill gaps and managing underperformance to ensure high-quality data collection.
• Identify and mitigate compliance risks, ensuring all field practices comply with Nigerian labor regulations and data handling protocols. Requirements
• 3–5+ years of experience in workforce management, field operations, or large-scale personnel coordination.
• Demonstrated ability to deploy and manage large, geographically dispersed teams (500+ agents) across multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience in developing and executing financial or operational infrastructure, specifically clear and consistent record-keeping systems.
• Exposure to field-intensive industries such as data collection, FMCG, telecoms, or census operations is highly advantageous.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills, including experience producing structured reports for senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency in workforce management or scheduling tools, and comfortable with data-driven tracking systems.
• Comfortable engaging stakeholders at both the technical/executive level and the frontline contract worker level.
• Familiarity with7 Nigerian labor lawand experience ensuring workforce compliance across diverse operational environments.

Pay: From ₦450,000.00 per month
