We are looking for a sharp, enterprise-minded Technical Solutions & Backend Engineer who combines robust server-side engineering with advanced cloud architecture and boardroom-ready communication. In this role, you will architect the secure, high-performance backend engines, APIs, and database structures that power our multi-sided educational portals, vocational tech-training pipelines, and marketplace platforms.

Crucially, you will serve as our core technical authority on system security, data privacy, and cloud deployment. You must be completely confident stepping into high-level virtual or physical boardrooms to present technical blueprints, answer rigorous infrastructure cross-examinations, and demonstrate system readiness to institutional client committees, corporate partners, and regulatory bodies.

Core Responsibilities

Backend Architecture & APIs: Design, develop, and optimize secure, scalable, and highly available server-side logic and RESTful/GraphQL APIs using modern backend technologies.

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Set up, configure, and maintain robust, containerized cloud environments, serverless architectures, and CI/CD automated deployment pipelines.

• Data Security & Compliance: Implement rigid authentication frameworks, data encryption (at rest and in transit), and role-based access controls to guarantee institutional-grade data privacy.

• Technical Blueprint Presentation: Author comprehensive backend architecture diagrams, database schemas, and technical whitepapers to accompany enterprise-level commercial proposals.

• Boardroom Technical Support: Actively participate in high-stakes partner and client evaluation meetings. You will lead technical segments on screen or in person, articulately addressing complex stakeholder queries regarding data sovereignty, system uptime, security protocols, and integration velocity.

Technical & Cloud Competencies:

• Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in backend development, systems architecture, or DevOps engineering.

• Stack: Deep proficiency in backend languages such as Node.js (TypeScript), Python, or Go, alongside mastery of relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).

Cloud Certifications (Added Advantage - At least one of the following):

• AWS Certified: Solutions Architect – Associate, SysOps Administrator – Associate, or DevOps Engineer – Professional.

• Google Cloud Certified: Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect, or Professional Data Engineer.

• DevOps & Infrastructure Tools: Expert handling of Docker, Kubernetes, serverless paradigms (AWS Lambda / Google Cloud Functions), API Gateways, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or CloudFormation).

• Communication & Corporate Presence:

• Impeccable verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to explain highly complex technical infrastructure in clear, business-driven terms.

• Strong poise, professionalism, and confidence when presenting before executive stakeholders, university Bursars, and technical review committees.

• A proactive, problem-solving mindset capable of thinking on their feet during rigorous boardroom cross-examinations regarding system vulnerabilities or scaling constraints.
