## Key Role Overview
Voyage is a full-time, paid leadership development program for recent university graduates that combines hands-on, discipline-specific hotel training with a leadership-focused curriculum. Participants are placed at Marriott-managed hotels (not classrooms) for 12-18 months, completing rotations and projects to gain operational experience and prepare for supervisory or entry-level management roles.
## What are the Key Responsibilities?
- Participate in day-to-day hotel operations and hands-on assignments, including mini-rotations across disciplines.
- Cultivate customer relationships.
- Champion innovation and pitch new initiatives through a Voyage project.
- Gain exposure to managing projects and people; take on special projects drawing upon training.
- Participate in management meetings and collaborate with Voyage participants worldwide; provide feedback on curriculum.
## What are the Required Qualifications?
- Graduated from a university or hotel school within the past year (those with expected graduation within 12 months may also be considered).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent higher level education required (Associate's degree acceptable for Culinary disciplines).
- Superior critical-thinking and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to foster relationships, work collaboratively, self-manage, and be a self-starter.
- Demonstrated desire for personal and professional growth.
- Work authorization in the country where you apply.
## What are the Preferred Qualifications?
- Interest in discipline tracks such as Human Resources, Revenue Management, or Sales & Marketing.
- Prior hospitality experience or related internships (if applicable).
- Demonstrated leadership potential and initiative.
