We partner with a diverse range of organisations to provide end-to-end human resources solutions that drive growth and efficiency. We pride ourselves on delivering professional, tailored HR support that helps our client companies strengthen their human capital and achieve their business objectives.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and organised Human Resources Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support Intarel’s HR consultants in delivering a wide range of HR services to multiple client organisations.
You will play a key part in ensuring our partner companies receive timely, professional HR support across recruitment, training, compliance, policy development, and general HR administration. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an early-career HR professional to gain broad experience in a dynamic consulting environment while contributing to the success of numerous organisations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Recruitment & Onboarding Support:
Assist with end-to-end recruitment and head-hunting processes for client companies – from drafting and posting job advertisements, screening applications, and coordinating interviews to facilitating new hire onboarding and orientation. Ensure a smooth and positive experience for candidates and new employees as they integrate into their roles.
• Training and Development Coordination:
Support the planning and delivery of training and capacity development programmes for client organisations. This includes organising training sessions, coordinating schedules and materials, maintaining training records, and gathering feedback to help improve future programmes.
• HR Compliance and Policy Administration:
Help ensure that partnering organisations adhere to HR best practices and labour regulations. Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating company HR policies and employee handbooks. Support senior consultants in conducting HR audits and preparing compliance reports to maintain high standards of HR governance for clients.
• Performance Management Assistance:
Participate in the implementation of performance management frameworks for client organisations. Coordinate performance appraisal schedules, collate performance review documentation, and assist in tracking employee performance data. Help in setting up and managing simple performance tracking systems that contribute to employee development and organisational effectiveness.
• HR Systems and Reporting:
Contribute to the design and operation of HR systems that support organisational growth. This may involve helping to maintain HR databases or Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) for clients, ensuring data is up-to-date and accurate. Generate reports and analytics from HR data to support decision-making by clients and by Intarel’s consulting team.
• Record-Keeping and Documentation:
Maintain organised and confidential records of all HR activities and client engagements. Handle employee records, contracts, and relevant documentation for different client companies, ensuring they are filed properly and kept secure. Prepare and update spreadsheets, reports, and presentations as needed.
• Client Support and HR Administration:
Act as a friendly and professional point of contact for HR-related queries from client organisations. Provide prompt assistance or guidance on routine HR questions, and escalate complex issues to senior HR consultants when necessary. Support general HR administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, assisting in payroll data collation, and ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations for both Intarel and its clients.
