Our client, a fast-growing online retail brand, is seeking a dynamic and creative E-commerce Marketing Manager to spearhead their social media strategy. Based in Enugu, Enugu, NG , this role will be responsible for developing and executing innovative campaigns that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales conversion across various social media platforms. You will leverage your expertise in digital marketing, content creation, and community management to elevate our online presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media marketing strategy aligned with e-commerce goals. Manage and grow the company's presence on key social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn). Create engaging and compelling content, including text, image, and video posts, tailored for each platform. Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns, optimizing for ROI and conversion. Monitor social media trends, competitor activities, and audience behavior to identify opportunities. Build and nurture an online community, engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages promptly. Analyze social media performance metrics, providing regular reports on key insights and recommendations for improvement. Collaborate with the e-commerce team, design, and product development to ensure consistent brand messaging. Manage influencer marketing collaborations and partnerships. Stay up-to-date with the latest social media tools, best practices, and algorithm changes. Develop and manage the social media marketing budget. Drive traffic to the e-commerce website and optimize for conversions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field. 3+ years of proven experience in e-commerce marketing, with a strong focus on social media management and strategy. Demonstrated success in developing and executing social media campaigns that drive engagement and sales. Excellent understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, and advertising systems. Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing software is a plus. Strong copywriting and communication skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies. Experience with SEO and SEM principles is beneficial. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Creative thinking and a passion for digital marketing and e-commerce. Experience with A/B testing and campaign optimization.
