Job Summary
• Cross Beverage Nigeria Limited is seeking a driven, energetic, and people-oriented Sales & Marketing Agent to join our frontline team.
• As the face of our brand in the field, you will be responsible for identifying and approaching potential customers, generating leads, closing sales, and building lasting relationships at the grassroots level.
• This is a high-activity, results-driven role suited for someone who thrives on human connection and is motivated by targets and incentives.
Key Responsibilities
Field Sales & Lead Generation:
• Canvass assigned territories to identify and approach potential customers.
• Pitch company products and services in a clear, compelling, and honest manner.
• Generate qualified leads and follow up consistently to close sales.
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets set by the team leader.
• Distribute marketing materials and promotional items to increase brand visibility.
• Represent the company professionally at markets, events, and customer locations.
Customer Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Understand customer needs and provide appropriate product information.
• Handle customer objections confidently and escalate issues where necessary.
• Ensure a positive customer experience at every point of contact.
Reporting & Market Intelligence:
• Gather and report market intelligence, including competitor activity and customer feedback.
• Attend team briefings, training sessions, and performance reviews regularly.
• Submit accurate daily and weekly activity and sales reports to the supervisor.
• Track personal performance against targets and proactively flag challenges.
Requirements and Qualifications
• SSCE, OND or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 0–3 years’ experience in a field sale, marketing, or customer-facing role.
• Strong communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset – you don’t wait; you go get it.
• Ability to handle rejection with resilience and continue pushing toward targets.
• Honest, reliable, and a team player.
• Comfortable working outdoors and on the move across assigned territories.
• Prior experience in FMCG, beverages, or consumer goods sales is an advantage.
