We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing & Operations Manager who can drive growth, oversee day-to-day operations, and lead a remote team to execute our vision effectively.
Position Overview
The Marketing & Operations Manager will play a critical role in the growth and success of Club Lagos LA. This individual will be responsible for managing marketing campaigns, overseeing operational processes, coordinating team activities, and ensuring projects are executed efficiently.
The ideal candidate combines strong marketing expertise with excellent leadership and organizational skills. They should be capable of developing strategies, managing people, improving systems, and driving measurable business results.
Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing & Growth
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, audience engagement, and event attendance.
• Plan and manage digital marketing campaigns across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, email, and other relevant platforms.
• Work closely with content creators, video editors, and designers to produce engaging content.
• Monitor campaign performance and optimize strategies based on analytics and insights.
• Develop partnerships, collaborations, influencer campaigns, and promotional opportunities.
• Identify new audience growth opportunities and customer acquisition strategies.
• Oversee content calendars and ensure consistent brand messaging.
Operations Management
• Manage day-to-day business operations and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Develop and improve operational workflows, processes, and systems.
• Create and maintain project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare performance reports.
• Coordinate activities between marketing, customer support, event planning, and administrative teams.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve productivity.
Team Leadership
• Lead and manage a remote team of creatives, assistants, marketers, and contractors.
• Set performance goals and establish accountability measures.
• Conduct regular team meetings, check-ins, and performance reviews.
• Delegate responsibilities effectively and ensure successful project execution.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Event Support
• Assist with marketing and operational planning for Club Lagos LA events.
• Coordinate promotional activities before, during, and after events.
• Track event performance and provide recommendations for future improvements.
• Work with vendors, partners, and stakeholders to support successful event execution.
QualificationsRequired
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Marketing, Operations, Business Management, Project Management, or a related role.
• Proven experience leading teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of social media marketing, digital marketing, and audience growth strategies.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in a remote environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive).
Preferred
• Experience working in entertainment, nightlife, hospitality, events, media, or lifestyle industries.
• Experience with tools such as ClickUp, Asana, Trello, Monday.com, Notion, or similar project management platforms.
• Experience managing remote teams.
• Familiarity with email marketing, CRM systems, and marketing analytics tools.
• Experience managing influencers, brand partnerships, or community-building initiatives.
