We are seeking a creative, data-driven Brand and Marketing Specialist to amplify our voice, grow our community, and drive sales both online and in-store.
Job Overview The Brand and Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing integrated marketing campaigns that strengthen the Agu.ng brand identity, increase customer engagement, and drive revenue. This role sits at the intersection of creativity and analytics—ensuring every collection launch, social post, and campaign reflects our core values while delivering measurable ROI.
Key Responsibility
1. Brand Strategy & Management
Maintain and evolve Agu.ng’s brand voice, visual identity, and tone across all touchpoints (website, social media, email, packaging, in-store signage).
Ensure all marketing activities align with the brand’s positioning (e.g., bold, confident, culturally rooted, accessible).
Monitor brand sentiment and competitive landscape within the Nigerian/African apparel market.
Develop seasonal brand narratives around new collections, collaborations, and key cultural moments.
Marketing and Campaign Executive
Plan and execute 360° marketing campaigns for product drops, seasonal sales, and brand events.
Manage the marketing calendar, coordinating with design, sales, and production teams.
Brief and oversee creative assets (photoshoots, videos, graphics) for paid and owned channels.
Collaborate with influencers, stylists, and brand ambassadors to drive authentic awareness.
Digital Marketing Growth
Manage social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook) – content planning, community engagement, and performance tracking.
Run paid social campaigns (Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads) with a focus on customer acquisition and retargeting.
Work with the e-commerce team to optimize product pages, user-generated content, and conversion funnels.
Manage email/SMS marketing (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar) – flows, newsletters, and promotional blasts.
Content Creation and Storytelling
Produce or oversee short-form video content (reels, unboxings, styling tips) that resonates with our target audience (Gen Z and Millennials).
Write compelling copy for ads, social captions, product descriptions, and brand manifestos.
Curate and repurpose user-generated content (UGC) to build social proof.
Analytics and Reporting
Track KPIs: reach, engagement, conversion rate, customer acquisition cost (CAC), return on ad spend (ROAS), email open rates.
Provide weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights.
Use data to iterate on creative strategy, audience targeting, and channel mix.
Retail and Offline Integration
Support in-store events, pop-ups, and activations.
Ensure consistent brand experience between online and physical retail locations.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
2–4 years of proven experience in brand marketing, digital marketing, or social media management – ideally within fashion, retail, or lifestyle sectors.
Demonstrated experience growing a social media community (e.g., from 10k to 50k+) for a consumer brand.
Experience with Meta Ads Manager and Google Analytics is mandatory.
Familiarity with Nigerian/African fashion consumer behavior is a strong plus.
Technical Skills
Tools: Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Canva/Adobe Creative Suite (basic), email marketing platform (Klaviyo, Mailchimp).
Data: Ability to analyze campaign performance and pivot strategy based on metrics.
Content: Basic video editing (CapCut, InShot) and photography composition.
E-commerce: Understanding of Shopify or similar platforms.
