Job Description
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Own and maintain the product backlog: write user stories, define acceptance criteria, and prioritise with stakeholders
• Run Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Track sprint velocity, burn-down, and team capacity to keep delivery on schedule
• Identify and remove blockers; escalate risks before they become delays
• Translate business goals into clear, actionable tickets across engineering and design
• Maintain a single source of truth for project status, decisions, and release notes
• Coordinate cross-functional dependencies across engineering, product, and operations
• Support product discovery by gathering user feedback, assisting with research, and helping shape roadmap priorities
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Currently serving or about to begin NYSC
• Solid understanding of Scrum methodology: ceremonies, artefacts, and roles
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams or projects internship, academic, or personal projects count
• Ability to write clear user stories and define acceptance criteria
• Strong written and verbal communication; you keep everyone aligned without micromanaging
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to make progress even when the brief is not perfect
