We are seeking a highly strategic, results-driven, and experienced Senior HR Executive to lead and strengthen our human capital operations within the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong operational HR expertise combined with strategic workforce management capabilities to support business growth, organizational effectiveness, compliance, and employee performance across multiple functions.This role requires a proactive HR professional with proven experience in workforce planning, organizational development, employee relations, policy governance, and performance optimization within a fast-paced engineering or Oil & Gas environment.Key Responsibilities* Lead and manage end-to-end HR operations, administration, and workforce governance across the organization.

Develop and execute strategic recruitment, talent acquisition, onboarding, and manpower planning initiatives aligned with business objectives.

Partner closely with management and department heads to drive workforce optimization, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness.

Oversee employee relations matters including disciplinary procedures, grievance management, conflict resolution, and employee engagement initiatives in line with Nigerian Labour Law and company policies.

Drive the implementation, review, and enforcement of HR policies, SOPs, compliance frameworks, and operational standards.

Coordinate and manage the company’s performance management system including KPIs, appraisals, probation reviews, performance improvement plans, and staff development initiatives.

Support compensation administration, payroll coordination, leave management, and accurate employee records documentation.

Ensure full compliance with statutory labor regulations, internal governance policies, and industry best practices.

Provide strategic HR insights through workforce analytics, HR metrics, management reports, and data-driven recommendations to support executive decision-making.

Support leadership in fostering a high-performance culture focused on accountability, discipline, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Drive learning and development initiatives to strengthen employee capability, retention, and overall organizational productivity. Requirements* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.

Minimum of 8–10 years progressive HR experience, preferably within the Oil & Gas, Engineering, EPC, or technical services industry.

Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labour Law, employee relations, workforce governance, and HR compliance practices.

Demonstrated experience managing both strategic and operational HR functions in a structured organization.

Proven ability to work with senior leadership and manage cross-functional stakeholder relationships effectively.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and conflict management skills.

High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and decision-making capability.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management systems.

CIPM, SHRM, or HRCI certification is an added advantage.
