Role Description The International Operations Manager is responsible for managing all foreign currency (FX) transactions and international payment processes, while coordinating the activities of the International Operations team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Team Coordination & Supervision i. Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the International Operations team.
ii. Assign tasks, monitor workflow, and ensure timely completion of all transactions and reports.
iii. Provide guidance, training, and performance oversight to team members.
iv. Ensure adherence to operational procedures, policies, and service standards.
• Regulatory Compliance & Stakeholder Management i. Liaise with the RICA team to ensure compliance with regulations and policies of banks and financial institutions.
ii. Ensure all FX transactions comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and standard operating procedures.
• Payment Processing & Approval i. Approve payments across all online platforms, ensuring accuracy of account details (name, number, and bank).
ii. Confirm successful debit after approval and communicate transaction status to the FINOPS team.
iii. Ensure all payments are processed accurately, efficiently, and within required timelines.
• FX Transaction Processing i. Process transfer payments in foreign currencies (USD, EUR, GBP), including loading online payments and bank instructions.
ii. Monitor FX transactions from initiation through bank approval to completion.
iii. Ensure refunds and commission payments are processed within the same business day.
• Bank Communication & Documentation i. Send payment instructions and supporting documents (invoices, SLAs, agreements) to banks.
ii. Ensure all required documentation is vetted, complete, and compliant before submission.
iii. Manage telex requests and confirmations, including documentation, filing, and reporting.
• Bank Statement Management & Reporting i. Update and analyze all foreign currency bank statements, linking them to transactions on Microsoft Teams.
ii. Prepare and update Daily Bank Balances and Position Reports for foreign currency accounts.
iii. Develop and maintain rate reports in line with operational requirements.
• Payment Monitoring & Reconciliation i. Prepare daily approved payment reports and reconcile with bank confirmations.
ii. Identify discrepancies and escalate to the FINOPS Manager for resolution.
iii. Communicate all debit and credit movements to the FINOPS team regularly.
• Bank Account & Correspondent Banking Management i. Manage bank accounts (opening, closing, reactivation, and maintenance) as directed by the HOD.
ii. Maintain and update correspondent bank details for offshore transfers.
iii. Ensure proper handling and transfer of documentation for all FCY transactions.
• Corporate Documentation & Control i. Manage company registration details (directors, account information, signatures, etc.).
ii. Safeguard official documents (letterheads, stamps, seals) used for banking and transactions.
• Communication & Coordination i. Manage email correspondence, ensuring proper routing to relevant units.
ii. Send receipts to transaction officers and the FINOPS Manager at each payment stage.
iii. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless transaction processing.
• Bank Account Monitoring & Funding i. Monitor and maintain bank account balances to ensure adequate funding.
ii. Ensure efficient allocation and utilization of funds for transactions.
• Process Improvement i. Liaise with the FINOPS Manager to improve payment systems and operational efficiency.
ii. Sup
