Role Description
This is a volunteer remote role for a Content Creator & Social Media Manager. Responsibilities include creating and curating engaging content aligned with the organization's mission, managing and scheduling posts across social media platforms, and engaging with the community online to raise awareness. The role also involves developing content strategies, monitoring analytics to optimize engagement, and working closely with the team to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
Qualifications
• Content creation and writing skills, including the ability to craft compelling social media posts, blog articles, and campaign messaging.
• Knowledge of social media platforms, their algorithms, and techniques for driving engagement and audience growth.
• Content strategy development and basic knowledge of analytics tools to monitor and optimize performance.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Creative thinking and a passion for championing women's empowerment and social advocacy.
• Experience with graphic design tools or video editing is a plus.
• Familiarity with NGOs, humanitarian organizations, or advocacy work is beneficial.
