Job Description
Job Summary • The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and engaging reliable suppliers to ensure the organization obtains quality goods and services at competitive prices.
• The role involves vendor sourcing, price negotiations, market research, supplier relationship management, and ensuring timely procurement processes that support business operations.
Key Responsibilities

• Identify and source qualified vendors and suppliers for materials, equipment, and services.
• Conduct market research to compare pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers.
• Prepare and process requests for quotations (RFQs), purchase requisitions, and purchase orders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers.
• Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Monitor inventory requirements and coordinate with relevant departments to avoid shortages.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate sourcing and procurement records/documentation.
• Track market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Resolve supplier-related issues including delivery delays, quality concerns, and invoice discrepancies.
• Support strategic sourcing initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
• 2–5 years’ experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain operations.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Good understanding of procurement processes and supply chain operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
