Job Summary



• The Business Development Manager will lead the organization’s growth strategy within the Oil & Gas EPCIM space by identifying high-value opportunities, securing major contracts, and strengthening the company’s market position.

• This role requires a commercially astute professional with strong leadership capability, deep industry networks, and a proven track record in technical sales and contract acquisition.



Key Responsibilities



• Develop and drive the company’s business development strategy for Oil & Gas EPCIM projects

• Identify, evaluate, and secure high-value contracts and long-term business opportunities

• Lead the end-to-end business development lifecycle from opportunity identification to contract closure

• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders including IOCs, NOCs, and major service companies

• Lead proposal development, including technical and commercial bid strategies

• Provide market intelligence on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities

• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure alignment with client requirements

• Negotiate contracts and commercial terms to maximize profitability and minimize risk

• Represent the company at industry events, client engagements, and high-level negotiations

• Mentor and guide Business Development Executives and junior team members

• Prepare and present business development reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to management



Key Requirements



• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field MBA is an added advantage

• 7–12 years’ experience in Business Development or Technical Sales within Oil & Gas EPCIM strongly preferred

• Proven track record of securing large-scale contracts and exceeding revenue targets

• Strong understanding of EPCIM project lifecycle, contract structures, and commercial frameworks

• Well-established network within the Nigerian Oil & Gas industry IOC/NOC/Service Companies

• Demonstrated leadership and team management experience

• Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and presentation skills

• Strong financial and commercial acumen

• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

• Growth of client portfolio and strategic accounts
