Our client, a reputable medical equipment and services company, requires the services of a proven Business Manager, Medical Workplaces & Projects who will be responsible for driving sustainable business growth by leading sales, marketing, and strategic initiatives for medical workplace and project solutions, while building strong client partnerships and delivering value-driven healthcare outcomes.
Job Duties & Responsibilities The Business Manager will carry out the following tasks;
▪ Driving and achieving set volume and margin targets for priority products in relevant franchises
▪ Development and retention of new customers for relevant product areas
▪ Market research, competitor analysis and competitor conversion
▪ Define markets and product positioning for priority products
▪ Sales funnel management and conversion
▪ Planning and carrying out direct field marketing activities, presentations and discussions to support the sales team.
▪ Team Leadership, training and motivation of Segment Managers and Sales Specialists to achieve set targets.
▪ Develop high level product knowledge of franchise products and competitor products
▪ Development and Implementation of Strategic Marketing Plans for Priority Products within the Portfolio
▪ Respond to customer enquiries and queries regarding franchise products and activities
▪ OEM Partners management and communication as well as forecast orders and report performance.
▪ Provide information through formal presentations to physicians, allied health, and administration customers that detail the clinical and/or financial benefits of the company's electrometrical products
Qualifications and Experience
▪ Bachelors Degree in a Clinical/Biological Science specialty (preferred but not mandatory)
▪ 10 years sales or business, marketing leadership or related experience in the healthcare/medical device industry
▪ Demonstrate effective educational and presentation skills in diverse settings.
▪ Ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision.
▪ Willingness to travel nationwide and work in a dynamic environment
▪ Please note that this position requires a minimum of 70% field presence and activities.
