Job Summary
• Our client is looking for a Back End Engineer who can build stable, secure systems and understands that the product platform will handle sensitive health data.
• Reliability and simplicity matter more than overengineering.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain backend services for the care management platform
• Develop secure APIs for patient data, care plans, staff logs, and reporting
• Design and manage databases with strong data integrity
• Implement user roles and permissions for different staff levels
• Ensure system security and protect sensitive health information
• Work closely with frontend engineers to deliver complete features
• Debug and improve system performance
Requirements
• 4 years experience in backend development
• Strong knowledge of Node.js, Python, or PHP (Laravel is a big plus)
• Experience working with MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Good understanding of REST APIs
• Familiar with Git and basic deployment processes
• Ability to write clean and maintainable code.
