We are seeking a talented Backend Software Engineer with strong experience in Java, TypeScript, and modern database technologies. You will be responsible for designing and building scalable backend systems, developing reliable REST APIs, and ensuring high performance and security across our applications. This role involves close collaboration with frontend, mobile, and DevOps teams to deliver high‑quality features end‑to‑end.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and TypeScript (Node.js ).
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Build efficient database schemas, queries, and optimizations using SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Develop microservices and distributed systems with a focus on scalability and reliability.
• Integrate third‑party services, authentication systems, and cloud‑based infrastructure.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code following industry best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define and deliver new features.
• Ensure backend systems follow best practices for security, data protection, and compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Strong proficiency in Java, especially with Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
• Solid experience with TypeScript and backend frameworks like Node.js, Express, or NestJS.
• Strong understanding of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex backend issues.
Nice‑to‑Have
• Experience with serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, Cloud
• Functions). Knowledge of caching strategies (Redis, Memcached).
• Familiarity with authentication/authorization frameworks (OAuth2, JWT, Keycloak).
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Understanding of domain‑driven design (DDD) and clean architecture principles.
