Fullstack Backend Developer

We are hiring an experienced Fullstack Backend Developer with strong expertise in either Node.js or PHP (or both) to build robust, secure, and scalable backend systems. You will play a critical role in developing APIs, business logic, databases, and full features from server-side to frontend integration.Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful/GraphQL APIs

• Architect and implement efficient database schemas and complex queries

• Build and optimize server-side logic for high-traffic applications

• Integrate third-party services, payment gateways, and external APIs

• Ensure application security best practices (authentication, authorization, data protection, input validation)

• Collaborate with Frontend Developers to deliver complete end-to-end features

• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests for backend components

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues quickly

• Participate in system design discussions and contribute to technical architecture

• Implement caching strategies, background jobs, and real-time features when needed

• Work with DevOps practices including Docker, CI/CD, and cloud deployment

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience

• Strong expertise in at least one of the following stacks:

• Node.js – Express.js or NestJS, TypeScript, PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB

• PHP – Laravel Framework (preferred), CodeIgniter, or pure PHP with MySQL

• Solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and query optimization

• Good understanding of NoSQL databases (MongoDB) is a plus

• Experience with authentication systems (JWT, OAuth2, Laravel Sanctum/Passport)

• Proficiency with Git, version control workflows, and CI/CD pipelines

• Working knowledge of cloud services (AWS, DigitalOcean, Vercel, or Heroku)

• Understanding of software design patterns, clean code principles, and SOLID principles

Nice to Have

• Experience working with both Node.js and PHP

• True fullstack capabilities (comfortable working with React on the frontend)

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture

• Experience with Redis, message queues (RabbitMQ, BullMQ, Laravel Horizon), and WebSockets

• Familiarity with serverless architecture or event-driven systems

• Previous experience in high-scale or data-intensive applications
