Our client is a Nigerian payment company that provides cutting-edge payment technology that allows businesses and individuals to make and receive payment globally licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria as a Payment Solution Service Provider (PSSP).
The company is seeking to hire a Senior Software Backend engineer with a specialty in core Java or/and Spring booth to work with their backend engineering team to complement the technical skills needed to serve as a key contributor in building and maintaining its core infrastructure and product development launch and scale.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in software development and agile methodologies. S/he should be able to work independently with little or no supervision with excellent organization and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
▪ Take ownership of technical solutions from coding, and release, to production.
▪ Design and improve the maintainability of the code base through innovative design.

Requirements
Key Requirements:
▪ B.Sc/BA degree in Computer Science or any related field
▪ 7 years of cognate experience working with Java EE/Spring, with at least 3 years experience as a Senior Software Engineer
▪ Knowledge of Object-oriented Programming concepts.
▪ Test-driven development (TDD) experience.
▪ Experience working with AWS, architecture, and design principles.
▪ Strong team leader and player, with the ability to improve knowledge and skills.
▪ Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude.
▪ Ability to work independently.
Benefits
Compensation – Base Pay ranges BTW NGN500,000.00 – NGN850,000.00 Monthly Net Subject to quality and level of experience Other interesting benefits
