Build systems where correctness actually matters
At AnyWorky, we’re building an on-demand services marketplace where:
• Money moves between customers and providers
• Trust decisions impact real people
• Reliability isn’t optional
This is not a typical CRUD backend role — you’ll work on systems where edge cases, failure modes, and correctness are the job.
What You’ll Work On
You’ll help build and scale the core backend systems that power:
💳 Payments & Financial Flows
Payment processing and lifecycle management
Refunds, disputes, and reconciliation
Provider payouts and balance tracking
Ledgering and financial correctness
🛡️ Trust, Risk & Verification
Background check and identity verification flows
Risk signals and fraud detection
Compliance gating (who can operate and earn)
Systems that ensure trust without blocking good users
⚡ Real-Time Decisioning
Matching customers with the right providers
Availability and eligibility logic
Handling real-time updates and state transitions
🔁 Distributed Systems & Integrations
Event-driven workflows and async processing
External integrations (payments, verification, notifications)
Resilient communication between services
Handling unreliable systems with retries, timeouts, and fallbacks
📊 Observability & Reliability
Instrumentation, metrics, and tracing
Debugging production issues end-to-end
Building systems that are observable, testable, and resilient
Tech Environment
We use a modern backend stack with:
• Node.js and Go
• APIs and event-driven patterns
• Databases, caching, and queues
• Cloud-native infrastructure
(Exact tools matter less than how you think.)
What We’re Looking For
You’re a backend engineer who:
• Thinks in failure modes, edge cases, and system behavior
• Has worked on systems involving:
• payments
• transactions
• or real-world consequences
Is comfortable building and debugging distributed systems
Understands idempotency, consistency, and data integrity
Has experience integrating with external APIs
Has operated systems in production (on-call, debugging, monitoring)
