Accountant

Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Accountant to join our dynamic team in Lagos for an on-site role. The Accountant will manage financial transactions, prepare and analyze financial reports, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with regulations. Daily responsibilities include preparing budgets, reconciling accounts, managing payroll, monitoring expenditures, and handling tax reporting and filings.
The role also involves supporting financial decision-making by providing timely and reliable financial summaries.

Salary: 250k

Qualifications

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and tax compliance

• Attention to detail and skills in financial analysis, recordkeeping, and reconciling accounts

• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field

• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CPA is highly desirable

• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

• Experience in a consulting or growth-focused business environment is a plus
