About Company: Our client is a fast-growing Retail Chain for basic groceries with strong financial resources, which is going to change the retail market in Nigeria.
The client is seeking to hire an experienced Sales Associates who will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, driving sales, and ensuring positive in-store experiences for customers.
The ideal candidate will actively support product sales, maintain store presentation standards, and contribute to achieving overall store revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
Drive daily and monthly sales targets for the store.
Provide accurate product information and upsell/cross-sell where appropriate.
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor.
Restock shelves and ensure product availability on display.
Process payments and handle POS transactions accurately.
Handle customer complaints or escalations politely and escalate where necessary.
Support inventory checks and stock management activities.
Stay updated on promotions, pricing, and new product arrivals.
Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth store operations.
Requirements
Key Requirements
Minimum of OND / HND / Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).
1–3 years experience in retail sales or customer service (preferred).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Customer-focused attitude with a positive mindset.
Basic numeracy and cash handling skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Flexibility to work weekends, shifts, and public holidays.
Good appearance and professional demeanor.

Compensation: Base pay is N150k monthly (Slightly negotiable) + Other interesting benefits
